As one of the pioneers in the industry, Eduard Tousek laid the cornerstone of the company group that exists today with the establishment of Tousek Torantriebe Austriain 1974. The original sole proprietorship was converted into a limited liability company in 1988. Only three years later the branch was founded in Germany.
In the following years, the strategy of continuous site expansion and innovation leadership in gate motor technology was successfully continued:
1993 the first branch outside of the German-speaking area was opened in Prague.
1998 the range is expanded with the introduction of cantilever systems for sliding gates
2001 the establishment of the Polish office followed
2003 The LWA115 aluminum canteliver track was awarded the innovation prize at the R + T Stuttgart trade fair, including for the retractable rack
2004 Tousek is the first manufacturer to introduce a two-line display control with a multilingual plain text menu. This started a new era of ease of use, which is still unique today
2006 all operators are delivered with display
2010 the series of PULL T sliding gate operators is equipped with new and highly sensitive sensors for maximum security - tested and confirmed by TÜV-Süd
2010 Tousek Poland moved to its own new location
2012 the existing company headquarters in Austria was modernized and expanded with additional capacities
2014 Tousek celebrates 40 years of success
